Hudson Lennox Lancaster, 83, of Landover Hills Maryland, departed from this world to his eternal rest on August 9th, 2025, surrounded peacefully by his loving wife, Priscilla, and his cherished grandson. Born on April 7th, 1942, in Mount St. George, Tobago, Hudson’s journey was marked by a spirit of love, dedication, and unwavering faith.

In his professional life, Hudson began his career at the T&T Electric Commission in his homeland before venturing to New York where he gained valuable experience as an Electrical Apprentice. In 1970, he brought his skills to Maryland., establishing himself as a Journeyman and then a Master Electrician, a testament to his diligence and expertise. He was a respected member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 26.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Hudson’s life was centered around his family and his faith. He shared a beautiful and devoted marriage with his beloved wife, Priscilla, whom he wed on July 17th, 1976. Hudson found his spiritual home at Adelphi Presbyterian Church, joining in 1975 and becoming an active member of the church family. His life reflected the teachings of Christ, especially in his role as a loving parent to his children: Owen Lancaster, George Dennis, and Iva Dennis. He took immense joy in his grandchildren, David, Christina, Nicholas, and Owen Jr., and was further blessed with four great-grandchildren.

Hudson touched the lives of many with his kindness, warmth, and convivial personality, embodying the love and compassion that are hallmarks of his faith. He was also a passionate sportsman, enjoying both rugby and cricket throughout his life. His love for God’s creation extended to his enthusiasm for these games. His life stands as a testament to the power of faith and the enduring strength of familial love, reflecting the words of 1 John 4:19, “We love because he first loved us”.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Priscilla; his children, Owen, George, and Iva; his grandchildren, David, Christina, Nicholas, and Owen Jr.; and his four great-grandchildren. He will be remembered fondly and dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him
